• एक कक्षा के 30 छात्रों का औसत भार 31 कि.ग्रा. है । यदि अध्यापक का भार भी सम्मिलित कर लिया जाये तो औसत भार में 500 ग्राम की वृद्धि होती है । अध्यापक का भार ज्ञात  कीजिये ? The average weight of 30 students of a class is 31 kg. If the weight of the teacher is also included, the average weight increases by 500 grams. Find out the weight of the teacher?

• 12 कर्मचारियों का औसत वेतन 6000 रूपए है । यदि मैनेजर का वेतन भी शामिल कर दिया जाये तो औसत वेतन में 1000 रु की वृद्धि हो जाती है तो बताइये मैनेजर का वेतन कितना है ? The average salary of 12 employees is 6000. If the salary of the manager is included then the average salary increases by Rs 1000, then how much is the salary of the manager?

• एक विद्यार्थी के 6 विषयों में औसत प्राप्तांक 70 है । यदि भौतिकी को छोड़ दिया जाये तो औसत में 4 अंकों की कमी हो जाती है । तो बताइये भौतिकी में उस विद्यार्थी के कितने अंक हैं ? A student has an average score of 70 in 6 If physics is left out, the average decreases by 4 points. So tell the number of points of that student in physics?

• 10 व्यक्तियों की औसत आयु 27 वर्ष है, यदि एक व्यक्ति को छोड़ दिया जाये तो औसत में 2 वर्ष की वृद्धि हो जाती है । तो बताइये उस व्यक्ति की आयु कितनी है ? The average age of 10 persons is 27 years, if one person is left out, the average increases by 2 years. So tell the age of that person?

• 15 मजदूरों की औसत आमदनी 65 रू. है । यदि 60 रू.औसत आमदनी वाले 10 मजदूरों की छटनी कर दी जाये तो शेष मजदूरी की औसत आमदनी बताइये । Average earning of 15 labourers is Rs 65 is . If the 10 labourers with an average income of Rs 60 are trimmed, tell the average earnings of the remaining labourers.

• 6 संख्याओं का औसत 20 है, यदि एक संख्या छोड़ दी जाये तो नया औसत 16 हो जाता है, तो बताइये वह छोड़ी गई संख्या क्या है ? The average of 6 numbers is 20, if a number is left out, the new average becomes 16, then find out that number ?

• क्रिकेट मैच की एक पारी में कप्तान को छोड़ शेष सभी खिलाड़ियों द्वारा बनाये गये रनों का औसत 26 है । यदि इसमे कप्तान के रन भी जोड़ दिये जाये तो औसत में 2 रनों की वृद्धि हो जाती है । तो बताइये कप्तान ने कितने रनों की पारी  खेली ?  In an innings of cricket match, the average of runs made by all the other players except the captain is 26. If the captain’s runs are also added, the average increases by 2 runs. So tell how many runs did the captain played?

• 8 व्यक्तियों की औसत आयु 42 वर्ष है । यदि 6 व्यक्ति जिनकी औसत आयु 48 वर्ष है, कही चले जाते हैं, तो शेष व्यक्तियों की औसत आयु क्या होगी ?  The average age of 8 persons is 42 years. If 6 people whose average age is 48 years, then what will be the average age of the remaining persons?

• एक क्रिकेट खिलाड़ी ने 11वीं पारी में 108 रन बनाये, जिससे उसके औसत में 6 रन की वृद्धि हो गई, तो पहले उसकी औसत रन संख्या क्या थी ?  A cricketer scored 108 runs in 11th innings, which raises its average by 6 runs, what was his average run-score earlier?

• 12 पारियों में एक बल्लेबाज का कुछ औसत है । तेरहवीं पारी में वह 96 रन बनाता है, जिससे उसका औसत 5 रन बढ़ जाता है । तेरहवीं पारी के बाद उसका औसत क्या होगा ? A batsman has some average in 12 innings. He scored 96 runs in the thirteenth innings, which raises his average by 5 runs. What will be his average after thirteenth inning?
