3. दूध और पानी किस अनुपात में मिलाकर बेचा जाए कि क्रय मूल्य में बेचने पर भी 40% का लाभ हो ? In what ratio must water be mixed with milk to gain 40% by selling the mixture at cost price ?
4. एक बेईमान दूध वाला दुध को क्रय मूल्य में बेचने का दावा करता है, परन्तु वह उसमे कुछ पानी मिलाता है, और 25% का लाभ कमाता है, तो बताइए मिश्रण में पानी का % कितना है? A dishonest milkman professes to sell his milk at cost price but he mixes it with water and thereby gains 25%. The percentage of water in the mixture is:
5. एक बाल्टी में रखे 20 लीटर स्पिरिट में से 2 लीटर निकाल कर उतना ही पानी मिलाया गया, यह प्रक्रिया दो बार और दोहराई गई, तो अब बाल्टी में मूल पदार्थ की मात्रा कितनी है? A bucket contains 20 litres of spirit, from this bucket 2 litres of spirit was taken out and replaced by water. This process was repeated further two times. So now what is the quantity of the original substance in the bucket?
6. एक बाल्टी में रखे 40 लीटर दूध में से 4 लीटर निकाल कर उतना ही पानी मिलाया गया, यह प्रक्रिया एक बार और दोहराई गई, तो अब मिश्रण में मूल पदार्थ की मात्रा कितनी है? A bucket contains 40 litres of milk, from this bucket 4 litres of milk was taken out and replaced by water. This process was repeated further one time. So now , what is the quantity of the original substance in the mixture?
7. एक बाल्टी में रखे 20 लीटर दूध में से 4 लीटर निकाल कर उतना ही पानी मिलाया गया, उसके बाद 2 लीटर मिश्रण निकाल कर उतना ही पानी डाला गया, तो बताइए अब बाल्टी में कितना दूध है ? A bucket contains 20 litres of milk, from this bucket 4 litres of milk was taken out and replaced by water. After that 2 liters of mixture was taken out and replaced by the same amount of water, So how much milk is there in the bucket now?
8. एक बर्तन में 500 लीटर दूध है । इसमें से 25 लीटर  दूध निकालकर उतना ही पानी डाल दिया जाता है । यह प्रक्रिया दो बार और दोहराई गई, तो अंत में उसमे कितना दूध बच जाएगा ? There is 500 liters of milk in a vessel, from this vessel 25 litres of milk was taken out and replaced by water. This process was repeated further two times. So how much milk will be remains in the end?
9. एक बर्तन में 80 लीटर दूध है । उसमें से 8 लीटर दूध निकालकर, उतना ही पानी मिला दिया जाता है । यही प्रक्रिया दो बार और दोहराई गई है । तदनुसार बर्तन में दूध की शेष मात्रा कितनी रह गई है ? There is 80 liters of milk in a vessel, from this vessel 8 litres of milk was taken out and replaced by water. This process was repeated further two times.
